**Harry Potter Spoilers**

4 08 2007

This post contains spoilers of the new Harry Potter book, if you don’t want anything ruined, please stop reading and go away.

I got Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows at midnight at a Chapters book shop in Canada. I spent like an hour waiting in the queue to get the book. Thankfully there weren’t any morons around shouting out who dies in the book. I’ve heard that’s been happening at a lot of book shops around the world. People driving by shouting at the of their lungs “SNAPE DIES ON PAGE WHATEVEREVER!!” or just making up completely stupid stuff just to try and insult the Harry Potter fans along the lines of “HARRY AND RON HAVE SEX IN CHAPTER 103!” Idiots. But was the book worth the wait? Yes. At times it dragged on a bit and the ending was weird, but overall it was a good read. I don’t like how Harry Ron and Hermione were in the forest for like over 200 pages, but it still kept me interested and kept me reading to find out what happened. I was so afraid throughout reading it that some of my favourites would die, but it was alright in the end that Ron Hermione Harry and Neville were still alive. I didn’t like that Fred and Dobby had to die though. I think I cried when they died. Lupin and Tonks too, I don’t think they should have died. =(

As the ending to the Harry Potter series, it did a damn good job, but un-needed deaths and a somewhat stupid epilogue will not only make little kids everywhere be sad and happy in equal measure, they will also make a lot of readers very angry at how boring and predictable the ending was and how at times the book was one big death-fest.  But it’s a good book in the end, despite all the problems and stuff that annoys me so. Five stars out of five. =D

I hate how Harry marries his best friend’s younger sister. It’s weird. Yeah…
