Um, wow.

Well, how long was it since I posted here? A week? And three days? Yeah… that can be counted as a while. That, and the WordPress dashboard and writing thingamajigs look all different now… It’s hard to adjust but it’s definitely prettier then before, and the post writing form is easier to work. All lovely and gorgeous, like everything should be. Smiles all around!

I don’t know why there was a lack of new posts lately… maybe it was because on Wednesday the forum I spend most of my time came back after two months down time and I’ve been posting like crazy over there, and it could also be that I’ve become addicted to Questionable Content, or maybe I had nothing to blog about. That happens a lot. I’m sorry. Seriously though, QC is amazing.

I’ve been thinking of making another LiveJournal. I made one last Summer, but only posted twice, went for a holiday in Canada for three weeks, forgot my password and basically forgot about it. I’d hate to look one of those stupid scene kids who makes LiveJournals and post slash fan-fiction and talk about how no one understands them and they have Asperger’s Syndrome blah blah blah… but it does look pretty cool…

My parents are in Budapest for the weekend, which mean that for the past couple of days I’ve been an insomniac. OK, not an insomniac, but I have been staying up later despite still needing to wake up early in the morning. Yesterday I was up until 2am ish posting on earlier mentioned forum then watched late 70’s British comedy (Frank Spencer, you’re so pathetic but everyone loves you) until finally going to bed at God knows when. I’ll have to avoid doing that tonight because despite my parents not being back yet I still have school in the morning. Sigh.

I also re-subscribed to last.fm, with the intention of staying that way now. With my own money too, woop! I think I’ve run out of stuff now… I’m gonna go see what LiveJournal’s like now then see what else I can do with this oh so meaningful life. Ciao!

Idiot, slow down

The blog got another small re-doing, one of the few problems about WordPress.com is that, while it’s skins are vastly superior to Blogger’s, there aren’t that many, and they could let me use custom ones rather then being made to just choose from the ones that are there. Bah. I got rid of a few things from the sidebar, because well… they don’t really serve a purpose I see needed. I’d also like to thank Josh or whatever his name is for the new tagline. 😉 I’ll probably be adding new things to the sidebar as time passes by…

In other news, tomorrow marks to return of me to the buidling in which I sit in a tiny room and get taught stuff by people who I don’t necessarily have a liking for, after two weeks of lazying about and eating sugary chocolatey egg shaped confections. In layman’s terms, I’m going back to school, and starting tomorrow there won’t be any breaks (apart from May Day, wooo) until it closes for the Summer at the end of May. Which means two months of almost endless school, *insert stupid crybabying here*.

I was going to make a new header but I couldn’t be bothered. And now, over to the weather…

No More Audacity For Me

Well, at least until I earn 31 euro I’d be willing to spend to get the full version of MixMeister. I don’t really understand why it would cost that much… it doesn’t have that much stuff on it. and the Trial version is incredibly annoying with it’s watermarks.

We’re re-doing the attic, and we’ve already emptied most of it, tomorrow we’re putting in insulation, which means I have to get off my butt and start working.

I wish I had spontaneous random musings out of nowhere more often, that’s starting to become the downfall of the whole site here.

Watching them perform their music isn’t as entertaining as bands that play with guitars and drums and such. Example below.

They’re very good at what they do, and it’s a good performance of their song… but the whole time it’s just two people twiddling some knobs, innit. At least if you actually go see them live there’s an extra light show! Bangin’

After thinking about it for a while

I am now prepared to say that Almost Famous is the best movie ever.

Why do I have to be such a loser that I never saw it until, what, last Sunday? 😦 I was missing out on so much!

Also, I just realised that Be Kind Rewind is being directed by Michel Gondry, I was planning on avoiding it but now, I must see it. Gondry is a genius. But still… Jack Black is in it, which may ruin everything. argh!

I will never be bored again.

I’m Taking Part In The St. Patrick’s Day Parade Tomorrow!

I’m going to be holding up a giant snake along with a bunch of other people! I wish I could say it’s gonna be dope, but I’m not that cool yet. At least this year I’m not going to be standing in the rain watching people walk by. Plus it always feels nice to be a part of something, aye? Aye. Also, I’m quite aware that St. Patrick’s Day is on Monday and tomorrow is Sunday. St. Patrick’s clashes with Easter this year so the parade has to be on Sunday.

I’m jealous of everyone who’s going to the Radiohead concerts in the US. Liars are supporting for the first leg of the US tour and it’s rumoured that Underworld are supporting for the second leg. Underworld and Radiohead would make me die from furious happiness. It makes me even more angry that I’m missing their ONLY shows at Ireland. 😦

Adventures Of Thursday

I made a new gmail because I so tired of the immaturity of the old one. I spent ages trying to change the email settings on soooo many sites before I realised I could just make it so the old account sends all the new emails to my new one. Having a new Google account is annoying though, I have to re-subscribe to blogs with Google Reader, and I’ve completely forgotten what else I used it for!

School ended early for me for Easter because I have an appointment tomorrow, YAY! But it means I have to miss the rehearsals for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade which means come Sunday I’ll have to find out what to do and how FAST! I was over the moon when I watched on particular video on YouTube and there was the option to watch it in HIGH QUALITY! But then I was massively disappointed as it’s not for all videos. 😦 Well, maybe not yet, anyway…

Is it just me, or is Blogger trying to win me back with it’s “everyone uses it!” charm?

First post of March!

Yay!

I would have posted more often recently but I took a break from anything with a screen on it over the weekend and my internet connection is still being screwy and the new internet box still has to find it’s way here, which means the internet is still finding itself turning on and off every once in a while. At least it’s not as bad as before.

On Monday I finally got meself the new iForward, Russia! album, and it’s very very good. I’d be more likely to listen to Give Me A Wall, but this shows a greater maturity and does a better job of keeping the momentum in the last four songs (why the placement of “Seven” at track nine in GMAW, after “Sixteen” and before “Fifteen Pt 2” and “Eleven”? WHY?) But yeah, good stuff.

It’s not long to go until Easter, I hope Crunchie finally wised up and decided to put the lovely honeycomb stuff on the inside of their egg like with their bars. How amazingly epic would that be? It’d just fly off the shelves and it’d be like we died and are now in Easter Egg heaven. But knowing boring old Cadbury we’ll probably be left with just a boring Easter Egg, just chocolate. Yawn. Anyway, Easter. Woop!
